About
Welcome to LeeSees.com: a long-term, slightly ambitious, and deeply personal photography project.
My Mission 🐦📷
My goal is simple to explain, but not simple to achieve:
to capture every bird species in the world, one by one, with my digital camera.
With approximately 11,000 known bird species worldwide, this mission will take many years, countless trips, early mornings, patience, and a lot of luck. But that is exactly what makes it meaningful. Every bird photographed is a small step closer to that goal.
This project is not about perfection or speed — it is about observation, respect for nature, and documenting the incredible diversity of birds on our planet.

Why This Project Exists
Birds are everywhere, yet often overlooked. By photographing them and making the images freely available, I hope to:
- Increase appreciation for birds and biodiversity
- Support writers, educators, and creators with high-quality bird imagery
- Create a visual archive that grows over time
This site will continue to expand as the journey continues — one bird at a time.
Thank you for visiting and being part of this mission.
